Spears is a two player board game. The objective is to move your tokens to the other side of the board while capturing your opponents tokens. If you place a token on your opponients baseline (the 12th row) they have one turn to either capture it or match it with token on your baseline. The player who has more tokens on the 12 row for more than one turn, wins
One token by itself is weak. It can travel one space in any of the 8 directions. Two or more tokens in a row form a spear that can travel its own length.
A two token spear can capture an enemy token that is by itself.
A three token spear can capture a two token spear. As long as the spear is longer than the enemy spear it can capture the opposing tokens.
Spears are weak if attacked from the sides. Only the number of tokens lined up in the direction of the attack count.
Although it is advantageous to capture opposing tokens, winning the game is though reaching the 12 row.
